Gatito Lindo
A rematch for the title of Overlord! Former challenger of the title, Gatito Lindo, came back to the cork with the dream and intention to try for the highest of titles in the Arena once again. With Black Drip Cake waiting for dessert post-match, Overlord Pearl and challenger Gatito once again stood at opposite ends of the ring as adversaries with a single duel as the chosen format — yet history would not be repeated. No, it would be Gatito who scored the first point of the night and even with Overlord Pearl’s valiant efforts to take the lead for herself, it would be kept at an almost constant half-point advantage as challenger Gatito’s efforts shined throughout the night. A tie in the 15th round with both standing tall at 7 points would be the teetering point with one soon to rise and the other fall.. And rise Gatito did, with a stunning stop-hit to catch the thrusting Overlord! With victory in his grasp Gatito’s name was added to the histories of the Overlord.

As it turned out, becoming Overlord was just the first step for Gatito in making history. Gatito soon afterwards became the Archmage of the Duel of Magic, and finally the Diamond in the Duel of Fists, which made him only the second duelist ever to hold all three top titles of each sport at the same time and be dubbed the DiArchLord. As Overlord was his first title, it was also the first he was challenged for. Rachael Blackthorne picked up the Test-Free Overlord Challenge in the Fall All-Ranks Tournament, and so was guaranteed to face Gatito in the ring. Gatito opted for a best of three challenge and came out of the gates on fire as he took the first duel by a score of 5-1 in six rounds; though he gave up the first point, he scored five points in a row afterwards to run away with the victory. The second duel was not so easy, as Rachael and Gatito took turns taking the lead, with Gatito eventually earning a 4-3 lead before the two traded blows in the final round to win by a slim 5-4 margin in ten rounds. With the two straight wins, Gatito earned his first defense as DiArchLord while the mantle of Overlord continued to elude Rachael.
