As this was the gatito's birthday, Salvador conscripted the staff at Kitten’s Confections Bakery & Café to help provide the bread and apple rose tarts, refusing to allow his companion do any work at all.

The challenge was fought tonight, and what a widly bumpy ride it was!

Pearl fought under her banner of a silver unicorn rampant on a blue field beneath a silver triquestra knot on white. Her Second and Lord of Honor was her husband, Velen.


Gatito's banner was a rose of gold against a black field. Sal stood as his Second, and his Court of Honor consisted of his mother and his RhyDin family.


The Overlord opted for a single duel, and it was a doozy! Gatito opened with a strong lead of 1.5 after the second round, but then Pearl came back swinging and captured a half-point lead by round 4. From there it was a seesaw as the lead swung back and forth for eleven rounds, leaving us with a 7-7 tie in round 15 before Gatito finally got a full point ahead in the sixteenth round to win the match and the challenge!
