Teagan Rielea
In an unusual turn of events, the winner of the Warlord Tournament prize to challenge the Overlord turned out to be someone who won no matches. The Summer 2009 Warlord Tournament saw only three entrants, Guill Fortis, Rakeesh Sah Tarna, and Teagan Rielea. In a round robin style, Guill won this tournament going 2-0, while Rakeesh went 1-1 and Teagan 0-2. What is unusual is that first Guill and then Rakeesh refused the prize of the Overlord challenge, ending up passing this to Teagan who issued the challenge to Tasslehofl.
The Overlord chose a single format, and after 11 rounds, Teagan ducked low beneath the Overlords attack in order to secure her right to become the 82nd Overlord of the Duel of Swords.
Shortly after becoming Baron, Anubis Karos proceeded to keep to his promise of challenging Teagan for her interference with his his previous challenge for the Old Temple District Barony. When this challenge was met, Former Overlord Aurora Blackmane stepped in to test the Baron, who then had his champion, Vanion Shadowcast, attempt to block the test. Vanion was successful in his challenge, defeating Aurora 5-3 in 11 rounds and clearing the way for Anubis to face off against the Overlady. Anubis and Teagan took to the ring, and after 10 hard fought rounds, it was the Slaver who stood victorious, and the 83rd Overlord of the Duel of Swords, winning the title by the score of 5-4.
