Tormay Eludes
Tormay, after defeating Drey Starke to become Overlord, was the first Overlord in a very long time, if not the Only Overlord, to hold the title with a record below 15 Wins over Losses. Tormay first awarded the Overlord grant to Wyheree, and set the alignments of Barons who had not declared.
The first to challenge the Overlord was Baroness of Old Temple Erin Dunbridge. The challenge was met in a best-of-three format, with the Overlord overpowering the challenger and taking the first match by the score of 5-1 in 7 rounds, and the second match 5-3 in 11 rounds.
The second to challenge the Overlord was the winner of the grant in the Winter Warlord Tournament, Kheldar Drasinia. The Overlord again opted for a best-of-three, and the challenger took the first match easily enough by the score of 5-2 in 7 rounds. The next two matches belonged to the Overlord, however, as he defeated Kheldar 5-4 in both duels to retain his right to be Overlord.
After a relatively quiet period of time, the third challenge to come was from the winner of the Spring Warlord Tournaments Overlord challenge prize Tasslehofl Momus. Again the Overlord opted for the best-of-three.
In an interesting first match, The Overlord and Challenger used pistols and shot at each other to start. In this battle using unconventional means, Tormay defeated Tasslehofl by the score of 5-4. The second and third matches belonged to Tass, however, as they dueled with swords this time around, and Tass defeated the Overlord by the score of 5-4 and 5.5-4.5 respectively. Thus, Tasslehofl becomes the 81st Overlord of the Duel of Swords.
