Hana's first challenge was from the recipient of the Overlord Challenge Grant from the most recent All-Ranks Tournament, Pearl Fand Ilnaren. The challenge was friendly and without incident, as the two met over pizza to determine a date and time.

Without the option to test, Hana instead opted for a single match to determine who would hold the mantle. The two wasted no time, and it was Pearl's night as after a few close rounds, Pearl went on a scoring streak which the Overlord could not match nor stop, and a new Overlord was crowned with a 5-2 victory in 6 rounds. This marked Pearl's first reign as Overlord, and with a majority of Barons declaring their loyalty, it was poised to be a popular reign.

Pearl's first challenge came from 2022 Madness winner and Renegade Baron Mira Burke. Due to her win in Madness, Mira was able to choose the format for the challenge, and opted for a single duel.

In what was called a nail-biter, there was only ever a point differential of one for the entirety of the match, and Mira went to match point with a 4-3 lead in the 8th round. The Overlord then managed to score one point to bring the match to sudden death with a well-timed duck, and then took the winning point with a quick strike high to win her first defense by a score of 5-4 in 10 rounds.

Afterwards, Mira petitioned for Loyalty, which was accepted by the Overlord.

With third place prize of Overlord Challenge grant from the 2022 End of Spring All Ranks Tournament in hand Gatito Lindo issued a challenge to Overlord Pearl. With the savory smells of Boneless French Coq au, Vin Veal Scallopini in White Wine Sauce, and Vegetarian Eggplant Lasagna in the air the two would meet the night of the nineteenth of July. The duel itself saw no Test of Worthiness set before the challenger as this special grant ensured that none could take place, but it seemed the Overlord was fine with the loss of political pageantry as Pearl choosing a single match would decide the fate of the Overlord mantle. While a trade had begun the challenge it would be the Overlord who gained the edge and expanded upon it until she claimed victory in the 7th round with a 5 - 2 finish.
