Though formally unnamed, the long red merchant tent that corners the Cultural Centre has come to be called either the General Store or sometimes the Gift Shop, and stretches from the limestone archpost in front to the inset barbecues and ovens in back. Manned by the Cadentia Farmers Cooperative and Merchants Guild, the front of the tent features a shifting inventory of salvaged goods, local craft wares, rare treasures, and general supplies.

The back of the tent houses a large multifunctional cooking feature, built into and between several of the limestone blocks scattered around the grounds of the bazaar. Here all manner of regional, seasonal, and varietal ingredients are transformed into all manner of sweet or savory delicacies. Throughout the tent the multicoloured tiles of the mosaic floor depict the Tree of Life in an amalgam of cultures and designs.

Guildsmen make regular sweeps of the desert and the CoOp’s always hard at work, so speak to one of the vendors to see about rotating and specialty items if you can’t find what you’re looking for.
