Challenge News
Oh my goodness, ladies and gentlemen, and all you other freaks, geeks, nerds, weirdos, apathetic fools, jerks, pushovers, workers, employers, sweethearts, devils, demons, angels, angles, foreigners, domestics, married, single, male, female, others, triggered, offended, laid back, cheaters, faithful, wonderful, terrible, smelly, clean cut, well dressed, ghetto, slumlords, criminals, law enforcement, jokes, wannabes, leaders, followers and everything in between, plus myself(who is incredibly handsome and awesome)... I think that covers everyone. Anyway, Welcome to another edition of G'norts G'news, and.. wait, I'm out of space? Dammit! Alright, let's get on with it and spare you people from my sophisticated humor....
First things first; I told you all last week that Terry King challened Rhiannon Brock for Battlefield Park and that the fight was going down on that Thursday. Well, it did, because I pay attention to these things and couldn't help but notice that hey, they fought. In fact, I was even there! The long and the short of it was that King said "I do" when asked "Do you?" and Rhiannon said "I do, too!" when she was asked if she did. Well, they did and they fought and Rhiannon chose to have at it in a best of three. Terry needed only the two to get this done, though, as she won a close one in the first (5-4 in 6) but dominated in the second match, only letting up a trade in the final round of that one(5-1 in 5) to take home Battlefield Park. Let's hope Terry isn't scared of ghosts!
Second on the list! It didn't take long for the standings to become official before a slew of new cycle challenges came to fruition! And the first to be challenged was.. wait a minute... according to this paper here, it's ME!? Who would.. oh. OH, that just figures! One of those damned Chae's has decided to try and take my title from me. Man, can't even get to first base inside the Lighthouse on Overlord Island before I'm challenged. I'd be offended, except that Titles are there TO be challenged, and I figure I have an entire list of people waiting to have at me. Well, it says here that Jenny wanted me to notice her, and now I pretty much have to. I hope she's masochistic cause I'm going to have to put a beating on this kid! Oh, I have till Friday to accept? Excellent.. sorta, not much time. Anyway, since I have a party scheduled, I'll have to make this last. Alright then, next!
Third on my list, hopefully not against me... nope, not at all. It looks like Mr. Sinister, Bile, has decided to go after the child Baron of Old Market, Maggie Harker. He just looks sinister, doesn't he? That's the entire reason I just called him that and no other reason at all. Just saying. Anyway, now that Bile has challenged Maggie, we're just waiting to see if she can reach the board to not only read it, but to pin up a response. Somebody bring her a chair! We'll be waiting to see that acceptance and then a scheduled time and date for it to be fought!
And now for the fourth item up for bid. It's Dockside! As in Claire Caelum of the East Hampton Caelums has decided that she was going to get back into the challenging game, and she meant it! Claire anted up and challenges Jewell Ravenlock of the Faerie Forest.. somethings for the title to the Dockside Barony. Honestly, I don't really have any stakes in this one, but if you ask me, the person who sells the hair dye would be wise to cash in because Merchandising for hair care is going to make a SUPEr killing in this one! Jewell of the Nile has yet to accept this, but when she does, we'll be all up on letting you know when it's scheduled!
In the Outback, it took all three duels, but Lilith managed to wrest Firestar from everyone's favorite Ranger, Gren Blockman. Andrea Anderson will be defending Icedancer against Shale on the 8th, and IFL season has started up! Time to get your team registered if you haven't already!
On the Island, Jesse of the psychotic sea patrol has defeated John Cole to defend the Tower of Fire, and Sinister Bile is going after Basil Praetextatus and the Tower of Air.
In closing, that's a lot of stuff to read through, but then I am a terrific journalist and I make these news rather interesting, don't you agree? If you don't, I don't care, because you probably didn't even read all the way down to this line so I can say pretty much whatever I want. Boobies!
Always remember, only you can prevent forest fires. Don't smoke and flick your cigarette out the window and keep fire mages in a good mood so they don't cast random fireballs! Thanks!
