Fall Cycle, Week 6

November 10th - November 16th

ANNOUNCEMENTS: We're about half way through the cycle and there are no opal challenges outstanding.

There is, however, an open opal now. Due to an extended leave of absense, we've been forced to revoke Melanie Rostol's hold on PathFinder. We are happy to report that Mel has been spotted back in the rings though and once her activity is fully re-established hope to see her back in the challenge game. In the meantime, staff have no immediate plans for how best to put the green rock back into circulation, but stay tuned. I'm sure we'll come up with something.

Most of the action the last couple weeks has been going on over in the Arena and there's a lot of challenge fighting worth checking out. Once that's over though, don't forget to swing by the Outback for some good ol brawling!

PANTHER'S CLAW: The holder of the Panther's Claw forthis cycle is Misery Postu! ((The Claw grants the holder one extra fancy/feint maneuver above his/her current rank (excluding Emerald))).

FISTMELDA'S TUSK: The holder of the Fistmelda's Tusk for this cycle is ! ((Fistmelda's Tusk grants the holder several perks, some of which are rank dependant and and include an extra modifier for lower ranks. Please see this thread for more details.)).

Mentoring Note: ((Remember, if you have a mentor, and are under the rank of Sapphire, you get one(1) fancy/feint maneuver above your current rank's total when your Mentor is present and watching over your duel! No duelist under the rank of Emerald may have a fancy/feint total higher than five, regardless of mentor and/or Panther's Claw bonuses.))

Returning Fighters: Don't see your name on the standings, but know you had a record in the past? Check our historical record. Any fighter to achieve 1+ WoL should be on there. Once you find your name, though before a duel begins, tell your opponent and you can fight at rank. You'll be automatically reinstated in the next published standings.

Other Notes: ( I ) = Inactive. No duels in the past 90 days. Get in the ring! ( NE ) = Not elligible to challenge. An inactive duelist must be active 30 days prior to being able to challange. Also, Emeralds may challenge but once per calendar month. Note this is tracked for all ranks, but only displayed on Emeralds. Standings Removal: Any duelist inactive for more than a year shall be removed from the standings. You may request re-instatement. Glass ranked duelists with 0 WoL are removed every other cycle or so.
