Challenge News

This has been an exciting week in which we saw Overlord Rand YET AGAIN defend his title as supreme duelist in the Arena. Choosing to test the Beastly Bile, Rand sent in his second, and Baroness of Battlefield Park, Rhiannon Brock. The baroness didn't have the opportunity to match blades with Bile because Renegade Baroness of Dockside, Jesse-- or at least her inhabited body, stepped in to counter the test and won the match 5-2 in 10 rounds. When the Beauty and the Beast finally met up, the score stayed close right up to the end where Rand bested Bile 5-4 in 10 rounds. So let's count up those defenses...one...two...HOLY COW. Three consecutive defenses as Overlord. We're impressed...and also glad that Bile didn't eat Claire's children. That would have left a mess that would have cost G more money to clean up and then I'd never hear the end of it.

New duelist Jackson Gray met Baroness Melanie Rostol King for a best of three in which he won the last two matches to become the new Baron of New Haven. "From Commoner to Baron in Two Short Months"...doesn't that sound like a great book title? Since Melanie didn't break all of his fingers, Mr. Gray should write a tale of his success!
