ANNOUNCEMENTS: The Advent of Fall, Flow of Autumn Wind has come to an end and among the fallen leaves a winner was crowned. Rachael Blackthrone begins her reign as the newest and returning Keeper of Earth! Congratulations on your well earned victory! All competitors be sure to visit the Foxian booths nearest the Twilight Isle docks to accept your red bag gift! Little Yi also says ``Thank you!`` to all those who came out for her show and that her new puppet theater production titled "The Swordswoman and her Pupil" will begin showing near the Sakura Gardens Wednesday.

Dueler Appreciation this week returns with Twin Wins in Duel of Magic here on Twilight Isle this coming Tuesday, November the 14th!

Have you heard? The Twilight Wardens have been given a new task and they need your help! Two otter pups have been donated and their enclosure is being built, but.. there is a need for names! We've already seen multiple replies but it's not too late to suggest your own! A poll will be made at the end of the week for a community vote!

Note: Salvador Delahada won Leaf on the Wind on 09/17/2023 in the Fall All Ranks tournament. This awards the usage of Elemental Fury in regulation matches until the next All Ranks tournament.

AROUND THE CITY

I've continued my journey around the city to find more good treats to tell you all about. I guess what I heard during the Iron Fist League matches this week stayed with me, something about good food and good friends.. So I'll say: "The best thing about life is eating good food with good friends!" and this is why you should visit Ariana's Divine Delights Bakery and Bak'd if you want to have a taste of something sweet! Nako even ate the strawberry rhubarb pie I brought home before I had a chance to try it so you know it's good.

Oh! I'd like to give another shout out! And, sure, this isn't food.. but I did spend a day at Whitedown Spa and Retreat! Never had a hot rock massage before and was a little anxious about it! I can now say it's heavenly! You should book your own appointment soon!

Challenge News from the Arena

Anubis defends and continues his reign as the Renegade Baron of New Haven! The Baron chose a single duel for the format of the night and bested the Deathlord's Minion with a final score of 5.5 - 1 in 10 rounds! Well defended! Anubis also made a comment about the finished construction of a high-rise Tower and an invitation to its opening! Keep an eye on the cork should he post details!

Outback & Iron Fist League Update!

Challenge for Pathfinder! Winning the Tower of Earth could have possibly sparked Rachael Blackthorne's newest challenge for the Green Opal! Will there be a new Terra Master in the making? Droet has bested Rachael thrice in her bid for the Tower of Water but perhaps The Tower of Earth's blessing will bring PathFinder home to her! Keep your eyes on this one!

Fall All Ranks Tournament Announced! Slugfest will be the format of the night so sign up, show up at the Outback Saturday November 25th, and let those fists fly! The Diamond has also decreed it part of their Opal Excavation Week initiative! Earn points by joining the tournament and more throughout this Dueler Appreciation Week so be sure to check it out for more details!

Now for Iron Fist News! The first week is set in stone with Team Fist and Deathcake holding the early lead! Sunday was the night for Team Fist vs. Real Rhydin and while everyone's favorite ranger, Gren Blockman, gained the Iron Fist win, it was Team Fist domination everywhere else! Is this a sign for the Team Fist Nation? Is it YOUR year? .. Okay, I'm a little biased over here with my Team Fist pennant. Cough, cough. Week 2 for Team Fist sees them against The Rock Hards with the current score standing at 12 to 10! It's too early to say who will take it between the two since the Iron Fist Bout is still pending!

Real Rhydin may have had a taste of defeat during Week 1 but their Week 2 saw a rise in their league stock after sounding defeating the Duskside fan favorite King's Gambit 26 to 16! Renley Killian victory in the Iron Fist Match couldn't save Xanth's clipboard as the undercard was swept by the Real Rhydin roster! It's okay though since Icabod is a good boy.
