ANNOUNCEMENTS: News from the Outback! SLUGFEST FOR PATHFINDER IS ON! Now through Halloween, the best record based on the spread of points in your four best qualifying duels takes home PathFinder! Other prizes include strategy talks with the Opal’s last holder (and new Diamond) Mallory, a year’s supply of Silver Mark Orktoberfest Lager and a pizza party on Matt Simon’s tab (and more)! On Monday the 26th and Wednesday the 28th, brawling will even take place at Orktoberfest in rings made with BadCider barrels! Maybe Fistmelda will come cheer you on - or punch you herself! Sandwiched between that is a hot take - Eden’s challenged for FireStar and the pink puffball (Jiggly) will try and notch her first defense on Tuesday October 27th at 8pm((ET))! The next All-Ranks Tournament will be happening on Saturday November 14th! Sign-ups and prize announcements will be posted in the next few days! In non-Opal or tournament news, let’s talk Badass… the Badass Board, that is! New week, new leader! Diamond Mallory wrecked some havoc on the first night of the Slugfest, gaining 8 points in only 2 duels! Koy’s a point behind and a passel of other people have logged points for the board. Mal’s already issued some fightin’ words (“DETHRONE ME”) on Tweeter! Catering News: This October, are you ready to get your pizza on?! LIl' Cheetah’s Pizza is on offer this month in the Outback! Additionally, the Skybar is having a half-price special this week on all red drinks!

Other Venue News! Over in the Arena, Overlady Hope did it again, this time for her loyal Baron of Battlefield Park Matt Simon! Challenger Karma Armstrong, as Warden of Overlook, had Caleb Feren ready to counter Hope but she sent him back to the bar before denying the challenger herself in 17 rounds. Great show all around!

Over on the Isle, the Archmage Tournament is imminent! November 1st at 8pm ((ET)), the best of the Isle’s best come out to play! Sign up on the Isle! There’s also other goings on! During the whole month of October the Isle is offering new furry companions to keep via Bella, the Familiar Witch (and they are ADORABLE) and also giving out mystery boxes to casters who’ve dueled four times! Are you a Trick or Treat? Find out on Halloween when this Spooky Showdown ends! Even better, grab a lotto ticket while you’re there! They’re free and you can get one each week!

Team New Blood! Captained by Morgan LaFey, it’s a whole bunch of new faces … we’re glad to have you! Rule 1: PUNCHINNAFACE! LuvBonez wins the DoS Round Robin Cup! Congrats to Sal and Crew! Props too to Minion (HAIL DEATHLORD) for her MVP performance in the tourney!

Outside the Rings and About Town! Orktoberfest is where it’s at! Go find Fall Fun just north of Battlefield Park in this annual festival! The Hunter’s Guild is also offering silver marks for vials of quick acid in Operation: Orktoberfest! Last but not least this week, end October in style with A Wake for All Saints!
