ANNOUNCEMENTS: News from the Outback! In and out, up and down was the quick-set challenge for MoonBeryl! Sal made Jaycy sit down (with an exclaimation point!) in their challenge on the 8th! He won in two duels, both 5-2, and finished the night with a powerful uppercut! Talk about badass! Anyone want a Green Opal?! PathFinder’s going up for grabs in a multiple-day Slugfest event! Keep your eyes peeled for news in the next day or so! In non-Opal news, let’s talk Badass… the Badass Board, that is! Mallory has indeed brought it back - and she’s added some things! Slugfest duels count! IFL counts! Faking a spin kick successfully counts for five points!! The Outback is looking for businesses who want to cater during our open nights (Wednesdays and Sundays)! New Challenges! Nope, nothing this week.

Other Venue News! Over in the Arena, it’s challenge night again! Overlady Hope faces her All-Ranks Tournament Challenger, Rachael! This is a test-free shot but in a note on the board the OverHope said she wouldn’t have tested the challenger anyway! Who’ll be in the yacht come next week? Find out tonight at 9pm ((ET))! There’ve been a couple other new challenges issued this week too! First, Neekylah Lang (winner of a barony challenge grant from the All-Ranks tournament) has issued challenge again to Baron of Dockside, Olaf! She must really want to hold that district! No date has been set yet. Matt Simon, over in Battlefield Park is now under challenge too! Karma says she wants it, so… away they go! Hopefully no one will wear anything too revealing whenever this match is scheduled!

Over on the Isle, Bellamere met Eregor this past week and the Keeper of Water claimed his 5th defense (even though it took 3 matches to get there)! Congratulations, Eregor! There’s also other goings on! During the whole month of October the Isle is offering new furry companions to keep via Bella, the Familiar Witch (and they are ADORABLE) and also giving out mystery boxes to casters who’ve dueled four times! TEAM EVENT NEWS - IFL IS HERE!!!! REGISTRATION IS OPEN! Three teams have already signed up - last season’s champions King’s Gambit and returning Deathcake have registered and we see the return of an older team - the Rock Hards! Who haven’t we heard from yet? Finalists Real Rhydin and annual punching bags/brawlers Team Fist! Will they be back?! If both of them are, will we see a sixth team this year? Let’s hope!! Updates on the DoS Round Robin Cup! LuvBonez have 18 points after 2 matches, The Fancy Cut has 10 and Real Rhydin 9.5 points after 1 match, and Young Ones have 9.5 points after 2 matches! Overall points determine the winners! Remaining matches are as follows: The Fancy Cut and Real Rhydin meet Monday 10/12 at 10pm ((ET)), LuvBonez v. The Fancy Cut happens Tuesday October 13 at 10pm ((ET)), and Real Rhydin faces Young Ones Monday October 19th at 9pm ((ET)) to close things out!
