Fall Cycle, Week 5

October 30th - November 5th

ANNOUNCEMENTS: No tournaments or challenges and no Opals being contested at present. Things are somewhat slow in the Outback right now thanks to IFL season being in full swing.

The Garden is seeing plenty of action, and it has to do with people hitting each other, so that makes it fair game of the weekly news riff.

Week 1 saw the home team favorites not only pick up a win, but they did so in face smashing style! Fist Nation cheered their team on to the season's first match sweep as Kheldar and Darik came through in the remaining bouts. Hey, we're up to 1/3rd of last years win total after just 1 week!

Royal Pain dropped the ball to little sister team Royal Rabble in a close one as reported last week. In the other sister team rivalry it was the elder coming out on top. Claire's Pink crew picked up both of the bouts remaining over the weekend to complete the sibling beat down. Pink took 3 bouts to 1 and the match win by 13 points.

Deathcake and Team Lazerrick had a close one, but as mentioned last week, the knockout performance of Sabine in the IronFist match was just too much to overcome. The teams split the remaining bouts, each winning a 5-4 decision for their side, but the DCK squad held onto a 3 point lead when all was said and done.

Week 2 action is under way with 5 bouts scheduled for tonight! (Thursday the 5th). Get out to the Garden if you can... but, hey, stop by the Outback over the weekend. Our callers are getting lonely.

Returning Fighters: Don't see your name on the standings, but know you had a record in the past? Check our historical record. Any fighter to achieve 1+ WoL should be on there. Once you find your name, though before a duel begins, tell your caller and you can fight at rank then be automatically reinstated in the next published standings.

Other Notes: ( I ) = Inactive. No duels in the past 90 days. Get in the ring! ( NE ) = Not elligible to challenge. An inactive duelist must be active 30 days prior to being able to challange. Also, Emeralds may challenge but once per calendar month. Note this is tracked for all ranks, but only displayed on Emeralds. Standings Removal: Any duelist inactive for more than a year shall be removed from the standings. You may request re-instatement. Glass ranked duelists with 0 WoL are removed every other cycle or so.
