Winter Cycle, Week 11

March 13th - March 19th

ANNOUNCEMENTS: Monday night saw Hope take the ring against the challenger Saieniel for the right to hold MoonBeryl. Bout one went to the incumbent, with Hope landing a snapkick in round 8 to beat Sai's spinkick and win 5-3. Bout two was a lopsided victory for Sai who only gave up 1 point to Hope in the 2nd round when her kick was blocked, but went on to win 5-1 in six. The final bout was a ten round, closely fought, affair with Sai leading or tied all the way through until the final round. Hope leaped a snapkick in the 10th and landed a counter to take her first lead of the bout, but at the most important time. With a final score of 6-5, Hope remains the holder of the yellow rock.

G'nort issues challenge to JC for IceDancer. The Baron of Battlefield Park hasn't done much in the Fists title game, but he's looking to give it another shot in this grab for the blue rock. No response from Miss Chae at this point, so no bout timing to report.

DoS Madness round 1 begins its second weekend tonight in the Arena. The tournament is experiencing the usual amount of chaos and mayhem as upsets abound. The Gondar division has been especially harsh to tournament betters with all six of the recorded duels going to the underdogs! The 1 seed Shadowlord and the 7 seed Erin Dunbridge remain the only hope for some normalcy out of this division.
