I hope this post finds you well. I have thought long and hard on who I want to challenge with the Overlord Grant given to me by Overlord Delahada. I hold Dris's opinion in very high regard because he is a wonderful musician, a wonderful dancer, a wonderful party host, and is just generally wonderful! So it is with his encouragement that I challenge you for the Barony of Dragon's Gate, and am looking forward to walking the road through this complex, intimidating new world alongside a friendly face!

I apologize for having taken so long to post this notice! My work has been very busy, and I've only had enough energy left over each day to make my way home and pass out in my pile of plushies.
Anya and I had a fun day together where we also happened to make the arrangements for our challenge. We will be having the match on Wednesday, September 29, at 9:30 ET. Our official will be the lovely Ettyn!
I will be bringing lots of cookies of many different kinds, and we will do all we can to make sure everyone who attends has a lovely time! I look forward to seeing everyone!
Tonight was a long challenge! Salvador gave the Overlord Grant to Ellie Luisante, who fought Anya de la Rose for the Dragon's Gate Barony.
Ellie fought under a bright cyan banner with a dark cyan heart. Her second and bestie of honor was Serge Tenebra.
Anya fought under a blue banner with a rock-rose and thistle. Her second was her squire, Sheridan Driscol, and I was her person of honor -- Ettyn de la Rose.
Dris tested for Anya, and sounded it had all been arranged, but Karma Armstrong used another Grant to step in on his test! Though she hung in with two null rounds, it was Dris who took the match five to naught in a seven-round match.
Next was the test, and Dris held an early lead through five rounds! In the sixth it went to Ellie, who won it in fourteen hard rounds.
Finally was the fight against Anya. Ellie took an early lead and did not give it up. She and Anya traded in the eighth round, and closed it out five to one in ten rounds.
Well fought, all, well reigned, Anya, and well won, Ellie!

I want to take a moment to thank everyone who came out for this challenge, from the participants to the officials to the spectators! I had a really nice time and I hope everyone else did, too! I will do my very best to hold this title in a way that makes everyone who believes in me proud!
And now there is the thing of alignment to the Overlord! I understand that due to the Overlord's decree, I have to make a petition in order to align Loyal and then have a duel with the Overlord. So this is that petition! I would like to be loyal to Overlord Delahada because he was kind enough to award me the grant that afforded me this opportunity, and because as it turns out, he is an amazing dancer. It's been quite a while since I've had a lead spin me so fast! I know we have to do a very different sort of "dance" for this petition though, and I am ready!
