Panther's Claw Announcement

Hi everyone!

First, we’d like to thank all of you who provided feedback on the Panther’s Claw award in this thread and in other conversations. We greatly appreciate the civil discourse and all of your varying opinions!

After careful consideration, we have decided to retire the Panther’s Claw at least for the time being. Based on community/sport changes (growth, rule updates, etc.), there may be a time when it makes sense for the Panther’s Claw to return to circulation; it may also be that it’s awarded as a rare tournament prize in the future. For now, though, we feel that the best course is to retire the title and replace it with something new – details and specifics of the new prize are still under discussion but we plan to finalize things and roll out the new title for the Summer Cycle (we’ll announce the title details on the message board once we’ve locked everything down).

Again, we thank you for your valuable input & your passionate opinions; we hope as many of you as possible participate in the upcoming Panther’s Claw tournament and snag that achievement!
