Using my shiny new piece of paper that says I can challenge for the Overlord because I won the Warlord Tourney.

I had the extreme pleasure and privilege of calling the Overlord challenge last night. Here's how it happened:

Our Overlord dueled under the Dragon Banner, gold on a field of black and red. His Ladies of Honor were Morgan Le Fay (in absentia), Crystal, and Lesinda (in absentia). His Second was Zack Alcar.

The challenger, Red urThorne - winner of the most recent Warlord tournament - dueled under a green banner emblazoned with a red dragon, and her Second was Sloth Shaman (in absentia). Her Lord of Honor was Tyr.

This was a contest of dragons!

Dragons 1! Red displays great skill in her dance, but Rand's low swing strikes true, and he scores the opening point!" &#40;LC/FSS&#41; 1-0 Rand

Dragons 2! Rand shows us some skillful moves this time, perhaps twerking? Red decides to go straight forward with her attack, and ties the duel! &#40;FDU/TH&#41; 1 all

Dragons 3! The third round finds both of these duelers striking low - and clashing! No points for either! &#40;LC/LC&#41; 1 all

Dragons 4! Red sends forth another powerful luunge, trying to pin rand, but the Overlord proves to quick for her with his flashy dance moves! &#40;FSS/TH&#41; 2-1 Rand

Dragons 5! This round finds Rand getting down with his bad self, or so I hear the saying is, while Red braces for an attack! No points! &#40;FDU/SH&#41; 2-1 Rand

Dragons 6! The Red dragon in this match displays her skill, moving swiftly to one side, but the Gold is ready to catch her with a strike up high! &#40;HC/FSS&#41; 3-1 Rand

Dragons 7! Red closes the gap as her low cut lands cleanly on the dancing Overlord! &#40;FSS/LC&#41; 3-2 Rand

Dragons 8! Throwing caution to the wind, each of these skilled warriors lunge straight in, and both land their strikes! The Overlord reaches match point first! &#40;TH/TH&#41; 4-3 Rand

Dragons 9! Once more we see these dragons clash low! Points for neither, and the duel continues! &#40;LC/LC&#41; 4-3 Rand

Dragons 10! Rand chooses to raise a very impressive high parry, which Red watches from her braced position! &#40;FLP/SH&#41; 4-3 Rand

Dragons 11! Red puts on her dancing shoes once more, but Rand executes a low cut and catches her, to secure the victory and his right to the title of Overlord! &#40;LC/FSS&#41;

&#40;&#40;FINAL&#58; Rand alTan .def. Red urThorne, 5-3 in 11&#41;&#41;

Thus, did Rand defend his title as Overlord! Well defended, Rand, and well fought, Red!

Also, Zack ran through the place with only his boxers on, and the ladies loved it.
