Challenge for Pathfinder *

Post by Rakeesh »

Gren,

I have much respect for your heart and your skill. I believe you to be capable of bearing the burden of your watch over Pathfinder. Never-the-less, I challenge you, as one warden of the natural world to another. I look forward to a good, honorable fight.

Sincerely,
Rakeesh Sah Tarna

I accept Rakeesh's challenge, and will be in touch with him to discuss a date and time.

This happened. I watched. Here's how it went:

Code: Select all

Green Rock 1: Gren and Rakeesh put on their dancing shoes, dodging this way and that and we start off with a grand total of no points awarded, (FDO/FDO)
Green Rock 2: Gren asks if Rakeesh would like a hand. Rakeesh says 'Don't mind if I do' and sends him on a trip on Air Liontaur. (FAB/FL) 1 Rakeesh
Green Rock 3: Gren's looking for payback for that last round and finds it with some sneaky sneaky ranger moves. (FeJK/FDO) 1 All
Green Rock 4: We've got a pair of kicks over here though it looks like Rakeesh is pulling up on his. Gonna regret that one, I bet. (SnK/FeSnK) 2-1 Gren
Green Rock 5: Rakeesh isn't keen on Gren having the lead and promptly ties it up with some fancy footwork. (Jab/FDO) 2 All
Green Rock 6: Rakeesh is back in the lead, a low sweep catching the ranger before he can run away. (FDO/LS) 2-3 Rakeesh
Green Rock 7: Gren aims for payback but Rakeesh's jab is too fast. Match point Rakeesh. (LS/Jab) 2-4 Rakeesh
Green Rock 8: And this one's over. Rakeesh goes for the ol' one two and claims the first match. (SnK/CH)

((Match One Final: Rakeesh .def. Gren Blockman, 5-2 in 8))

Path 1: A gamble on Rakeesh's part costs him the opening point of the second match. (Jab/FeJK) 1 Gren
Path 2: Rakeesh keeps up with the sneaky maneuvers and this one pays off when he catches Gren running. (FDO/FeFL) 1 All
Path 3: Gren goes back to what worked in round round, only to find that it certainly doesn't work this time. (Jab/FDO) 1-2 Rakeesh
Path 4: Gren follows up with an open handed chop but Rakeesh is striking at the same time. Yay points for both. (CH/Jab) 2-3 Rakeesh
Path 5: Back and forth with these punches. Gren's got quite the hill to climb to get back in this one. (Jab/FL) 2-4 Rakeesh
Path 6: Gren was in a pretty tough spot here and Rakeesh has got him nailed. (FAB/FeSnK)

((Match Two Final: Rakeesh .def. Gren Blockman, 5-2 in 6))
In two matches, Rakeesh wins the right to bear the PathFinder opal. Well done, Rakeesh and well tried Gren.
