I, Etherean Esperwind, did bear witness to the challenge match between the Keeper of Air, Russel Strong, and the challenger, Azjah von Drachen Walde, on this night, the 27th of September, in the year 2007 by some reckonings.

The first duel of the match began with neither duelist being able to establish a solid lead until Azjah managed to pull away after round 7 and win 5-2.5, in 10 rounds.

In the second duel of the match, Russel established a lead early and did not relinquish it, overcoming his challenger 5-2.5, in 8 rounds.

In the third and final duel, Russel took off with a commanding lead, 4-0, in 5 rounds, but Azjah managed to battle it back to 4.5-2.5 in 9 before Russel was able to outmaneuver her and win the duel, 5-2.5, in 10 rounds.

And thus did Russel Strong successfully defend his title and position as Keeper of Air.
