The current Overlord has made it known that as long as he is Overlord he will not support holding duels in the Red Dragon Inn.

Out of respect for the rank, I will abide by this request. The Red Dragon Inn will no longer host any Swords related events.

The Overlord also spoke of his displeasure in regards to the other sports, however I will not speak to the case of Fists of Magic.

However should the Diamond or ArchMage wish it, we will not host events for those sports as well.

Posted is a response.

"It is not up to the Overlord to decide where the duels may or may not be held. That is why there is a Duel of Swords coordinator. It is up to him to decide if the Duels may be held in locations other than the Arena and Annex.

The Overlord does not have that kind of power."

The Overlord in no way speaks for the Duel of Swords staff. The DoS staff has, and will continue to support expanding our horizons upstairs into the Red Dragon Inn.

With the Overlord now attempting to define DoS administrative policy, I'd personally ask all Barons and Warlords to consider closely the fact that he remains unchallanged at this time.

Similarly, the Diamond does not create policy for the Duel of Fists. I encourage our duelers to spend time in the Inn, and would also encourage those frequenting the Inn to stop by the Isle, Arena/Annex, and Outback/Slagveld.

"What I spoke was from my own mind, from my own mouth. I, as Overlord and dueler, will no longer support dueling in the Red Dragon Inn with my blade. I doubt I will be missed, nor will I miss them.

This is not to say that the staff will not continue their patronage of holding the sports in the Inn. As it is clearly evident by the coordinators in the above notes.

To put it bluntly, yer in a position where yer e'ery word an' action is scrutinized by th' public. Just as e'ery other title holder in e'ery sport, ye represent th' sport.

Consider yer words an' actions carefully, lest ye be judged by 'em.

As those in the position to make such decisions still wish to showcase your sports in the Dragon, the doors will be ever open.

Tera has my full authority and approval to work with you to provide what is needed to continue to make this happen.
