Welcome to the Duel of Magic Historical Archive!

Post by Mairead Harker »

This thread will be left open for comments and questions regarding the archive and its contents. The goal is to create a database/catalog for players to have easier access to historical information and events involving the Duel of Magic as well as those who have taken part over the years. It is hoped that this will be an enhancement to stories and roleplay.

This is a work in progress, please be patient. If you find any broken or misdirected links in the archive, feel free to post corrections in this thread. If you have found information that is not listed at present, please take note of whether or not the post in question is locked as that is serving as a place marker where information has already been gathered.

If one of your own active story posts is locked during this process, please post a request for it to be unlocked. You may also place the request via PM to any member of the DoM staff.

I have done my best to connect rhydin.org screen names to archival postings on duelingzone.org. Unfortunately, many of those players are no longer active in the community. Their part in building what the community has grown to be deserves to be honored and remembered. Many DUEL screen names are no longer in the member list, therefore, the links are connected to the matching out of uniform/play name profiles.

Information on titles gained by challenge is listed primarily on the history pages linked on sidebar of the main Duel of Magic pages and through the list of current Keepers. The pages are in the process of being updated to show - when available - the names of the officials, names of rings, scores, and other details. The previous DoM team crafted historical entries which give a detailed picture of things. I hope the additions to the older entries will reflect the philosophy that Max, Royal, and Karma showed with their many contributions to the community which is that we can build new things and not destroy what already exists.
