Transportation will be provided from various points around the city. Free admission, food, and weekend accommodations for all children, teens, and their accompanying chaperones. Adults and older teens interested in becoming members of the Rhydin Big Siblings Program to help chaperone the younger folk for these events are asked to contact the Minister of Children's Services. Strollers, wagons, and child care are available for the tiny tots and pre-schoolers.

Morgan spirited his little Midori away from her mothers for a day out to enjoy as much sugar as both could handle, first building the most ridiculous sweets to mush all over their faces and then taking over the park. Whatever Midori wanted to do, her oppa would make sure it was possible, or distract her with something obviously so much cooler. The two showed up in absolute style, Midori in a cute black and white gingham dress and a little purse for all of the pebbles picked up along the way, and a nice swipe of Morgan's lipstick so their kisses matched! Morgan himself, not wanting to take too much of Midori's stylish rumble of thunder, dressed entirely in black and dark grey, so when she sat on his hip or his shoulders, she was the center of attention.

As she should be.

Of course.

After getting her all sugared up and tuckered out, Morgan could be seen carrying the poor toddler's sleepy and limp little self right on home, where she could sleep off her ice cream and gummy worm binge on his bed so she could wake up to the smell of fresh baked goods and enough cuddles to bring down a full grown oni.

The saints can't help me now; the ropes have been unbound
I hunt for you with bloody feet across the hallowed ground
I want to find you, tear out all your tenderness and
howl, howl, howl.

The Lady of Autumn did her part for the Children's Day events by running the first aid station between the Sweet Shoppe and the Arcade. A gifted healer, she had seen more than her share of injuries over the course of her life.

Her equerry assisted in setting up boxes of bandages and other supplies. "My Lady, I have been told this is a happy occasion, why does it look like you are preparing for the aftermath of a battle?"

"Have you not learned in all these years, Téodóir, that is better to have and not need than need and not have?" She studied him a moment. "Accidents do happen. If we have the supplies on hand to help with cuts, scrapes, and upset stomachs, it will allow those in attendance to be treated here rather than elsewhere. Then, they and those with them may go on enjoying this happy occasion with as little interruption as possible."

"I now see the wisdom in this." He smiled thoughtfully.

"There are barrels with clear lids being placed all over the park with bottles of chilled water. Assign a few people to keep track of them throughout the weekend and make sure they are kept stocked and the ice in them is replenished." She set more items in place. "And see to it that the janitorial staff keeps track of the restroom stations. Often."

"Hm." Téodóir carried in a few more boxes. As he read the labels, he asked, "What of your other specialty, My Lady? What if there are mothers in waiting among the crowd?"

Autumn laughed lightly and gestured to door that lead to a larger room that resembled an ER in a small hospital. "We are prepared for that. There are gurneys back there for those in need and transport on stand by." She gave the equerry a wink. "Better to have..."

"And not need, I know. Now." He opened the boxed and stocked cabinet with disposable diapers and other baby supplies.

Governor Sheridan "Dris" Driscol made several appearances throughout the entire three-day weekend celebration. There did not seem to be any planned circuit available to map out his journey through the Wonderplex Amusement Park, but he was always in the company of a spaced out security detail and his loving life partner Rhys Germain.

Though his attire changed daily, one consistent article in his possession that helped identify him was the Summer Parasol he had won by participating in a Duel of Magic event a couple short years before. Rumors spread quickly through the park, and whenever sharp eyes spotted the bright blue of the paper sky over the Governor's head, children squealed delightedly to descend upon him. Their excitement was for various reasons.

1. Everyone knew that best girl Gussie and goodest boy Tommy were going to be in the Governor's company, too. Promises of doggy cuddles and kisses drew the attention of children of all ages, as well as some adults. Bite sized treats were available for their adoring public to spoil them.

2. Aside from posing for photos and kissing babies, sometimes the Governor was known to put on an impromptu street magic performance! In lieu of a rabbit under his hat or dove up his sleeve, these sleight of hand talent shows often included the involvement of a well trained murder of crows, and sometimes a gemstone barn owl golem named Pelia.

3. CANDY!!! Of course Governor Driscol was giving away sweets to anyone who came to see him as he wandered through the amusement complex daily, even the grown-ups. The most coveted trick up the Governor's sleeve were the lollipops he handed out free of charge. These came in a large variety of random flavors, safe for all species, and often Dris himself was caught with a cherry flavored one in his mouth.

At times, Governor Driscol and his entourage of protection were accompanied by his goddaughter Miss Maybelle IvyGreen (who mysteriously still seems to appear to be the age of approximately twelve) and her family. When not in his and Rhys' company, the family stayed aboard the Wonderplex Express.

Where, exactly, the Governor stayed to sleep during his time over the long weekend, nobody knows for sure. Though rumors circulated that there may be some connection to this mystery and the old-fashioned genie lamp (see also: Serenity Lamp) that was looped to the Governor's belt. When not in his possession, some eyewitnesses reported seeing it carried by a stern looking middle-aged woman.

All in all, Governor Driscol enjoyed three marvelous days spoiling his goddaughter and entertaining the children of Rhy'Din!
