Diamond Quest 101 was important for several reasons, including the reformation of the Opals and the sacrifices made by several spectators and participants in order to bring them back.

But those post-tournament events should not overshadow the accomplishments of Eden Parker, who, along with 15 others, entered the event. The seedings were:
Kheldar Drasinia
Koyliak VanDuran-Simon
Gloria Blaze
Michelle Montoya
Eden Parker
John Tasslehofl Momus
Matthew Algiers Simon
Amaris
Jaycynda Ashleana
Gren Blockman
Jewell Ravenlock
Lilith Anderson
Anubis Karos
Melanie Rostol
Salvador Delahada
Kayden Lee

In her attempt to claim the winner's bracket as her own, Eden took down Lilith, Michelle and Kayden before running into a roadblock named Tass who knocked her down to the bottom bracket, earning himself a trip to the finals! Eden's eventual bottom-bracket opponent was Matt Simon, who'd also been sent down there by Tass earlier in the night; she beat him in a close 5-4 match to earn the right to fight for the title. Like Jaycy did in DQ 100, Eden won two straight duels against the top-bracket winner to earn her second Diamond and become the Outback's 101st champion!
