We wanted to take a few minutes to talk about your ideas and suggestions.
In the past we’ve encouraged you to, among other methods, submit your suggestions in the server either in the lobby or by directly messaging staff members. But it’s becoming clear that taking that approach might have led to some of your ideas getting lost in the scroll or the busy back-and-forth of every day. That’s the last thing we want! Your ideas, suggestions, and feedback are incredibly valuable to us.
Moving forward, we’d like to encourage everyone to use the more publicly visible methods of making suggestions that we’ve set-up. That way we’ll be sure everything gets the consideration and response it deserves.
Feel free to try any of the following:
- Start a thread in the Community Townhall forum - This is the easiest way to make sure that staff will get eyes on your idea. An individual thread leaves room for us and anyone else to ask clarifying questions and get back to you with a direct response! You can find the Community Townhall section here.
- Add to the Bug Reports & Feature Requests Thread - This is an established thread pinned in the Community Townhall section that’s already set-up for your feature requests! This is a particularly good place for suggestions related to the forum or the discord server! You can find the thread here.
- Post in any of the Dueling OOC folders - If your suggestion is related to a specific dueling sport, feel free to drop it into the corresponding sport OOC folder. That’s the best place to make sure your idea will be seen by the sports coordinators. You can find them here: Swords, Fists, and Magic.
If you’ve already made a suggestion to us but haven’t received a real up-or-down vote on it, please feel free to suggest it again. There are a lot of reasons why suggestions might not have been implemented yet, whether it’s just something that got lost in the early busy days of the site or something we intended to revisit and forgot about. Regardless, we don’t mind being reminded or nudged. So go ahead and post it and we’ll happily take a first, second, or even third look at any ideas you might have.
We can’t wait to hear what you guys come up with!
