Bounty on the Baron of New Haven
Arena patrons,
I am asking for your help. After his recent actions and especially due to his vicious and unprovoked attacks on Michelle Montoya and Mallory Maeda earlier this evening, I believe Jonn Revelator is unfit to hold title or station in this sport. I therefore offer a three-thousand noble bounty to the individual who takes the Barony from him.
I also call upon Rachael Blackthorne of House Steel to expunge Jonn from your ranks and I implore the members of the other dueling houses to deny him entry should he seek another place.
I thank you in advance for your swift action in these matters.

So, let me see if I understand this correctly. You expect the houses to disown this Baron, but you don’t appear to have the strength of your convictions to banish him outright? Interesting.

Why Mr Simon, I didn't know you had it in you, you decrepit sack of shit.
Unlike your fake show a few nights ago of getting my side of things, now you ain't even bothering.
Last I checked, as of this minute, I'm still a Loyal Baron. Guess that makes you a trend setter, maybe all the Overlords will put a price on the head of their own Barons.
I knew you had no stones when you broke your word to me to stand up for me if I asked. This just makes sure everybody else knows it.

Harris, he already declared his intent to go Renegade, he just hasn't made it official in writing. If he doesn't soon, I'll take care of it.
Jonn, you are correct. I heard your side, determined it to be half-truths at best and reacted accordingly. If I were you, I'd worry less about me and more about the two women you attacked without provocation. I imagine you'll need to watch your back (and front, and sides), for the foreseeable future.

Overbore Simon,
Nice of you to play judge and jury, but nobody cares.
I always watch my back, which is why last night happened. Can't count on old men like you to do it for me, can I?
So like I said, you clearly don't have the sack to be top dog of anything. Since you think you're so much better than me, why don't you go ahead and banish me and show up in the ring with steel in your trembling hand? If you're good enough you can even save yourself a sack of gold.

Re: Bounty on the Baron of New Haven
Last night happened because you were looking for an excuse, Jonn. I let you escape an insult and an attack on my property with only a curse, so you decided to insist that I call your match so you would have the opportunity to slash my throat when I came at you unarmed to speak to you about the goddamn sports press.
You put a knife in my neck, and I should have been dead by the time my friends dragged me to the wards — yet here I am. What will you try next, Jonn?
I offer no bounty on the marauder’s title, but for a piece of him: a thousand nobles each for an ear, an eye, or a full hand, and a hundred nobles for a finger. The bounty will be paid upon verification of his maiming. This offer has no expiration.
I will say that I understand some of you may have exercised poor judgment in believing this man or holding his words equal to mine or anyone else’s. Consider this understanding a warning not to stop this or any of the other forms of revenge that he is due from me and others.

::The note is written in Jonn's primitive handwriting, on what appears to be the back of an order form from some unnamed bar::
Mallory,
That's a fine story. You should go into showbiz.
You're one to talk about a knife in the neck, don't try to deny yours and your lackey Michelle's were aimed for my back, witch.
Don't think I don't got friends, and your little scheme made it's way to me.
As for pieces of me, anyone who feels up to it can give her a try. But the only piece of me you're going to get is whatever I decide to give you.
In fact
::the note is incomplete and unsigned, the bottom half soaked with blood::

Mallory found a small space near the bottom that hadn't been soaked, and wrote the following words in the same shade as the stains:
Next time I'll try to let Jonn finish his thought first.

Hey horny bitch.
You mean before you shoot someone in the back from hiding, like a coward? And then setting a pack of your devil hounds on him?
Yeah. I'm still here.
You should have finished the job.
Collected any of those bounties yet?

The reply was a district map of the city of RhyDin, with markers for Jonn’s location and times listed next to them every couple of hours, starting from two o’clock this afternoon. Someone had been blood-scrying.

Re: Bounty on the Baron of New Haven
A note was left on the corkboard, penned in Michelle’s writing but the security cameras would show it was Mel, her co-worker from Bak’d, who had posted the message.
Patrons of the Arena,
I write this note based on the information others have told me, for I do not remember much of Thursday nights challenge. Despite whatever has occurred, I do not condone violence on either side. Although Baroness Mallory Maeda and Overlord Matt Simon are within their rights to offer bounties it is not something I condone, and I will offer no bounties of my own.
However, I do support the Overlord in relegating Jonn Revelator to Renegade. I call upon all warlords and barons who believe in the integrity of the duels to sustain the Overlord in his decision.
Some may consider my values to be old-fashioned, but I believe that honour and integrity are never out of style and I make my stand on those grounds.
Regards,
Michelle Montoya of Atrebla

Remember when Matthew Simon decided to drop bombs on Twilight Isle in response to undead, PEACEFUL undead, seeking to create their own land to prosper in?
I remember.
I remember.

Re: Bounty on the Baron of New Haven
After a few days of consideration, and the counsel of the other party he injured on Thursday night, I have decided to withdraw my bounty on the current Baron of New Haven.

Witch Baroness,
You forgot something. The rest of him is waiting for you at Battlefield Park.
Don't start fights you aren't ready to finish.

The appendage was removed from the corkboard sometime last night.
