One night only! Sunday, March 22nd at 8:30 PM by the Eastern Clock, Twilight Isle welcomes spellcasters of all abilities for the Spring All Ranks Tournament! Come out and fight at Wizard ranking for a chance to win one of several prizes. As usual, there will be plenty of spell slinging, food, and other shenanigans.
You're totally interested more in the food than the prizes, I'm sure, but here's what we've got in store:
First off, all entrants who pre-register before 8:30 PM on Saturday the 21st and show up by 8:25 PM on the night of the tournament will receive 1 WoL right off the bat. Top performers have a shot at taking home even more!
First place: 5 WoL (or the number of WoL you rack up through the tournament, whichever is greater) plus your choice of one of the below prizes.
Second Place: Earned WoL (Max 4) plus your choice of one of the below prizes.
Third Place: Earned WoL (Max 3) plus your choice of one of the below prizes.
Fourth Place: Earned WoL (Max 2) plus your choice of one of the below prizes
Fifth & Six Place: Take your pick of the remaining prizes.
PRIZE POOL!
-The Spirit Staff for the remainder of the cycle. Call the power of the elements down upon your foes once per duel.
-2 Air gems, courtesy of our lovely Air Keeper Venalia
-1 Air gem, again courtesy of our lovely Air Keeper Venalia
-Blue dragon's egg. I won it off a stranger I met in the pub. Seemed quite glad to be rid of it, as a matter of fact.

-Baby kiwi (not the fruit). This thing's pretty cute, not gonna lie.

-Mystery Box! What's in it? Well, you'll have to open it to find out huh.

[[OOC Info: Format will be determined by number of entrants. 1-5 will be round robin. 6-10 double elimination. 10+, first round will be single elimination followed by the remaining rounds double elimination. 20+, in the event that craziness happens, straight up single elimination will be the flavor of the night.
Seeding will be based first on RoK Rankings, followed by sign up or walk in time for those that don't pre-register. Air gems must be used by the end of the current cycle or they will become inventory icons.
It's worked well, so we will adhere to a 5 minute casting limit each round in order to try and keep the tourney from running too late. Exceeding 5 minutes once will result in a friendly reminder from the caller. Anything after that will result in a mis-cast, meaning no spell was invoked and the opponent's spell scores for maximum damage. After a mis-cast, the duelist is still not allowed to use whatever spell they most recently used. That way the mis-cast does not serve as a type of disengage. In the case anyone needs more than 5 minutes for an urgent/special circumstance, please alert the caller, opponent, and the room so they they know you need a few minute and will return asap. ]]
