I will cut pre-reg off at 7 pm. I will cut off last minute entries at 8/8:05, then have the pairings up. Your Top Thug, Mini Thug (that's me!), and Claire Bear will be calling.

Seedings

I wanted to do seedings like they do in the DQ and base it on rankings from last cycle. So I asked Kal to make me a list of all duels fought last cycle. I then removed all the Emeralds to make it easier to read the list. So those that first fought the qualifying duel amount (13) will get top seed, then those that dueled will be placed in win % order. If you are not on the list, you'll be seeded based on your sign up order. If you sign up after pre-reg cut off time, no matter where you are on the rankings list, you'll be seeded in sign up order.

I will post a Google Doc link to the table at 8 so you can see where you are seeded if you fought last cycle. If Matt and Kheldar let me call future Panther's Claw tourneys, I would like to use the same seeding system, as it gets all of us ready for how they do things in the high rank tourneys! ARR!

Here is the table of the 1st Cycle All Ranks Ranking System courtesy of Kalamere. If you see a name on the list that I didn't rank above that should be, please feel free to point it out. Adjustments are easy to make up to 8 pm.

Anyone registering at 8 pm, even if they dueled last cycle and had good rankings, will seed at the bottom.

Still single elimination, and high seed, JC, will get first round bye if we have an uneven number. If we're still uneven after that, next highest seed that wasn't eliminated in round 1 will get the next bye, and so on.

Hi, I was looking at the ranking system and saw that Morgan got 18% point bonus but it doesn't say what. I'm just curious as to what the bonus is for?

Kalamere can explain it better than I can. Here's what he said to me: "If a duelist has WINS greater than that qualifying number, then they receive a +2 bonus per win over to their percentage score."

Each entrant received a mini treasure chest full of loot. The loot contained chocolatey gold coins, gummy worms, cookies, and a treasure map that may or may not lead to a real treasure! They have to come sailing with me to find out! ((Treasure chest is about 6"L X 4"H X 4"W))

Those ranked Glass, Jade, or Ruby coming into this tourney, found one super charged pixie stix in their mini treasure chest. If they ate the pixie stix, they felt pretty powerful; powerful enough to put a little extra oomph into one more move than they normally would get! This buff would last all night as long as they were still in the tourney. ((Glass fights with one mod, Jade fights with 3 mods, Ruby fights with 4))

Mentor mods were also allowed, so as long as no one fought with more than five mods, it was all good!
