For the couch potatoes
Ok, I admit it, I am a couch potato. New season of everything just started and I'm a happy spud. So I was wondering, what TV shows do you like to watch?
I have a list:
Heroes - My favorite is the Japanese kid
Smith - But I heard it's getting canceled
Jericho
Smallville - or better known as Hottieville
Supernatural
6 Degrees
Ghost Whisperer
Battlestar Galactica
Medium - or what Onyx called it, Small Medium at Large
I saw tonight that the SciFi channel will be re-airing Threshold, so I'll probably be watching that again. Funny that I don't have to watch Grey's Anatomy, the radio station's morning show keeps me informed every week.
Anyway, my secret is out, I am a couch potato.

I... well, when I have time, I watch:
The Daily Show & The Colbert Report. I try very hard not to miss these.
Mind of Mencia
Doctor Who (Yeah, it's not Tom Baker... but it's not bad...)
Stargate: SG1 & Stargate: Atlantis
Various stuff on Cartoon Network
And yes, I'll admit that I watch South Park...

Regretably, I find that I no longer turn on our TV for reasons other than watching DVD's with company. . .an exercise that usually winds up with several folks getting more comfortable and nobody actually finishing the movie. . .odd. . .
Remember, in the end, it's all moo.
Meaning it all gets munched on, spit up, chewed on for a while, swallowed, spit up again, chewed on some more, swallowed again, and dumped on the ground in big steaming piles.

::twiddles fingers::
Let's see...
I watch:
Veronica Mars
Heroes
Desperate Housewives
Nip/Tuck
Grey's Anatomy
Family Guy
Meerkat Manor
Anthony Bourdains No Reservations
Lost
CSI (the Vegas one)
Ugly Betty
And the occasional Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends.
I'm watching alot less of Adult Swim than I used to, but Metalocalypse cracks me up.

I'm mostly a movie hound, but I do stop to lose a few hours of my life here and there whenever there's a good show on. Like:
MythBusters
Family Guy
Futurama
The Colbert Report
The Daily Show
South Park (It's a classic!)
Simpsons
Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends (I have a Bloo vanity plate on my PT Cruiser)
The Top Chef!!
American Chopper (Mikey is the shiznat)
Happy Tree Friends
King of Queens
The Girls Next Door
Late Night with Conan O'Brian (I know it's not a series, but I love that man.)

Reruns of Will and Grace and Fraser on Lifetime from 11-1(M-F)
Stargate-more Atlantis than SG-1 since Richard Dean Anderson left

Can't say I watch too much tv, but the first thing I do when I get to work is turn on The Daily Show and The Colbert Report. However, the shows I do watch with regularity while at home.....
Survivor
Any baseball, hockey, football, european soccer, poker, world's strongest man, or NCAA wrestling finals (God Bless ESPN for airing this!) that happens to be on. If it isn't obvious yet, my tv is on some sporting event a good 80% of the time. But no basketball! Basketball evil!
Channels that are sometimes tuned in on, when I can't find a sporting event:
History channel
Discovery channel (I reject your reality, and substitute my own!)
Animal Planet
CNN
And let's not forget all those wonderful series that are released on DVD for my viewing pleasure whenever I so choose! Currently finishing up season 7 of Buffy, and season 4 of Quantum Leap, and season 1 of Thundercats. Next up, Smallville!

Lost - My favorite show, because of it's philosophical bent.
Project Runway - The most entertaining of the "reality" shows.
House - He has my kind of sense of humor.
Heroes - Well done new show.
Studio 60 - Another good new show.
Carolina Panthers games, poker, The Daily Show if I'm up that late, but I have trouble finding The Colbert Report funny most of the time. And, of course:
Whose Line Is It Anyway?
Best show ever.

DVD Series
Escaflowne (Sir Alan is a gorgeous anime hunk!)
Viva la Bam (My mother and I watch this together. She keeps commenting on how mean Bam is and how wrong the show is, but she then turns around and laughs at all the crap he pulls.)
Star Trek Voyager (So... I've only got like 2 seasons, but I used to watch it late night whenever I was in high school. I am NOT a trekkie, but I do like Kate Mulgrew and all the awesome soap-opera episodes.)
Kindred: The Embraced (8 episodes based on the White Wolf game. The acting is terrible, but if the plotline was for a LARP it would be awesome.)
I would like to own: The Golden Girls.

Don't get me started on Anime...
I have a rediculously huge collection of Anime.
I'm currently re-watching the "Crest of the Stars"/"Banner of the Stars" series... when I have the time.
Favorite short series: Armitage III.
Favorite OAV, single disk: Read or Die.
Favorite Movie: Howl's Moving Castle. It's so... Russian-esque.

We do not really watch television most of the time.
Right now, the TV's always set on Football, Green Bay and Seattle.
The Discovery Channel or
The History Channel are the other primary noise makers/background
DVD series:
Star Trek NG
Babylon 5
