What else has happened lately... Well I did get married but I am saving the telling of that for a very special entry. Matter of fact I may get a different journal just for my beloved French Pirate TDMF husband happenings! Because you are nothing but vermin and don’t deserve to hear how I feel about him and how truly special he is.

Something is going on with my best friend Charna and I haven’t had a chance to find out what but she was acting very strangely last night. Purring at Hanzipoo and snapping at Quel who by the way was looking like the cat that ate the canary. Well at least until Charna started snapping at him.

I don’t know for sure because I had been downstairs at the Arena again and well I’m getting ahead of myself here so let me just back right back up again.

The BIG EVENT was Wednesday and I had the best time I have had in ages. So many people came it was hard to keep up with everything that was going on!! I know I missed getting drinks and refills and greeting people and I was, and still do, feel pretty badly about that.

It was just so spectacular to see the Duelers back in the common room!!!! The regulars that had never Dueled before jumped right in with both feet and were cheering and hollering right along with me and even hopped in the rings and were Dueling for all they were worth! I was so PROUD of them ALL!!!

IMP came!! I do like that Imp. I will admit it to you just like I did to my Jean he is just the most precious little Imp. Chaos abounds wherever he goes but there is no way a body can stay mad at him.

I think Talomar wanted to eat him though. Imp was just that ornery to him. I had to grab and hold onto him with my hand over his mouth after he spouted off to the Count. Tara was distracting her husband for all she was worth and she is very good at it too!!

I was holding onto Imp for dear life and covering his mouth when Jean came to help and the tiny blue terror kicked him. The P’Imp then proceeded to flip the Count off. We broke a few bottles with all the flailing around but we all managed to get out alive.

Kalinda had lost a bet with Hanzo when he bet her in their Duel and was about to strip right there in the common room and when I told her not on my watch Imp poofed over and covered my eyes so he too could watch!!

Oh the horror with the Boss standing right there! I tugged and tugged and tugged but the little devil is stronger than he looks! He was determined to see Kalinda get nekkid right there in the common room in front of God and everybody.

So I started to spin around thinking I could dislodge the death grip he had on my head but that didn’t work either. All I succeeded in doing was making myself both Imp-blinded and very dizzy. That was the first set of bottles to go but Imp was a dear and steered us away from the shelves quickly. He only wanted to see Kalinda nekkid not wreck the bar... this time.

Jean came to the rescue and steadied me as soon as it was clear Imp wasn’t going to get a “free show” and poofed off my head so that I could get the ledger to register Hanzo and Kalinda in the Honeymoon Suite. That must have been some kind of bet I’m thinking.

Panther and Xeno dueled at long last!! It was awesome getting to watch Panth in action again. I will admit that I used to sit and drool over him (he has TDMF) but he and I have always both been with other people and now I am heart and soul in love with my French Pirate that gives me delightful shivers just at the mere thought of him and Panth has his Lenika too.

I feel so badly about Xeno!! He asked for that tea that he likes so much and I had just fixed him some when Imp called him to Duel Panth. Then when he was done the Nexus had done jerked me up and sat me down out of his sight behind the bar so he thought I wasn’t there to get his tea.

He was going to get it himself because downstairs they don’t have bartenders like we do in the Inn and I strutted myself over to him and grinned to let him know that I was there and would get it for him.

I don’t think he took too kindly to being approached like that. I had forgotten how Duelers don’t like to be strutted up to. That is unless you are intent on getting in a ring with them which between you and me right here I ain’t fool enough to do with Xeno. That man could beat me six ways to Sunday with one hand tied behind his back and blind-folded and never break a sweat!!
