You egg sucking weasel!! You are taking up my time when I could be spending it with my new husband and I really, REALLY hate you for that!!!! I remember when I didn’t have to worry about you sitting over here staring daggers at me.

You are worse than that dang blamed quack hypnotist I had to go see because of that Serpent that has taken to hanging out, literally, in the RDI..

I was minding my own business just like I always do when there it was hanging in the rafters up above my head. All you could see was it’s beady little eyes. Nothing else because of the shadows up there but I could feel it like it was breathing down my neck.

Them snake things they don’t blink a whole lot ya know. Just stare at ya like and ya know they move really funny so ya can’t really tell which way to jump to get out of the way until it is already too late. They’ll swallow ya whole too!!!

Good grief I hate snakes!! I didn’t even have a hoe to chop it’s head off with either!! Not that a hoe would have been a whole lot of help in this particular case because I’m here to tell you that is a pretty big snake thing. Well there I was on duty no less tending bar and it just had to wake up and decide it was hungry or thirsty or well I don’t know what it was but it wanted blood of all things!!

There I was all ducked down beneath the level of the bar so that it couldn’t see me and stuff when who walked in of all the people in the world that could have chosen to walk in I ask you? KOY! I was so embarrassed it isn’t even funny.

But since I am on the subject I still haven’t asked her why she is drinking ginger-ale and I really do need to be doing that. I know Matt is fine because I saw him just the other night but I’m way behind in keeping you up to date so just shut your nasty foul mouth and listen up!!

Now what was I telling you about... Oh yes the Serpent had scared me spitless again and wanted blood and I was in uniform so I had to be nice and get them what they asked for and Koy walked in and there I was all hunkered down behind the bar trying to hide from a paying customer!!

I have tended bar in worse circumstances over the years I am certain sure but I can’t think of any right now. Well maybe the time when I first started tending bar and was very slow about getting drinks made up and that new guy in town that could shift into a panther (not my Boss Panther) got mad at me for having to wait while I was getting a drink for someone else.

He shifted forms and leapt over the bar and was on top of me just that fast. Well I grabbed me an empty bottle, broke it on the back bar on the way down, and had the jagged edge at his furry throat before that customer could blink twice. I swear there ain’t never a dull moment in the RDI when a body is tending bar!!

He immediately leapt back up on top of the bar then shifted back into his human form and was most apologetic. That man never did that again and I did apologize for him having to wait for his drink which I then served him after I threw away the broken bottle.

I have gone to see this hypnotist, that I am worried may be a quack, and got myself cured of this fear of that snake thing though so now when I am tending bar I ain’t afraid of it and I won’t be embarrassing myself in front of people that I may someday want to fight in The Outback.

It just ain’t a good thing to be showing people that you have a weakness when you might be called upon to break up a brawl at any moment or end up standing across from ‘em in a fight.

Yeah it would be a friendly one but still a beat down if ya know what you are doing and Koy certainly knows what she is doing and hopefully I would still know what I was doing if I decided to run down and over there for a little knock down, drag out fight or two or three or four...
