Whipping it out in the Inn. NJ#6

I did it! He did it! We did it! I can’t believe it! Really truly honestly!

So far I’ve only actually admitted it two people but that is gonna change. I think I might stand up on the bar and announce it to the whole world tonight. I haven’t decided yet if that would be the thing to do in polite company or not. I might get in trouble.

But I don’t think I can keep it to myself a moment longer! He is just that awesome and I love him so very deeply. I’m thinking everyone probably already knows just from the way I sometimes get that far off look on my face and the glow that I know must be visible from miles away.

When he gave it to me, I was in a kind of shock I was that surprised. Right there in the common room he whipped it out. Just seeing it sent a shiver down my spine and had my heart racing with anticipation and joy. As soon as I spied it I threw my arms around him and hugged him tightly then extended my hand to him.

I never dreamed he would give it to me there. I thought he would wait until we got back to the Adventure Fortune or upstairs to my room in the Inn but not my you-can-eat-powdered-doughnuts-in-my-bed-anytime-t o-die-for-swashbuckling man.

I had glanced down and it was just there waiting for me to take it. You better believe I did and right fast too! So now I am the happiest woman in the world and all because my French Pirate is no slouch when it comes to whipping it out in the Inn!!

I refuse to describe my engagement ring to you because it is precious to me and you may yet end up in the trash can. Besides I do not have much time since Jean will be here in a moment so that we can go to the Circle D. He hasn’t been there yet and I’m dying to show him around.
