Place of Origin:
Gascogne (Gascon / Gascony, France)
Profession:
Musketeer of the Guard - King's Guard
Appearance:
He was an overwhelming bear of a man at 6'4 and 350 lbs. He wasn't all muscle, far from it. He was simply big and his love for both tavern and vice showed just as flagrantly as his gut. The largest in size and bravado among his two first cousins, Athos and Aramis (Not to mention their loyal friend and fellow Musketeer, d'Artagnan).

Shoulder length brown hair, blue eyes twinkling with boyish mischief and charm. A bar handled moustache styled and twisted into an upwards point at his cheeks and a goatee on his chin. Also, a prominent nose screamed of his French Noble bloodline.

He was a Musketeer and a Noble in the times of Louis XIII and XIV, so his fashion would naturally reflect the times. He was usually seen wearing slashed doublets, breeches and thigh high black boots folded over to keep the leather below his knees. (Perhaps a wide Reticella if his Musketeer's tunic was not worn). Always some sort of flamboyant wide brimmed hat which was stylishly bent up at one side and plumed with a single peacock feather.

Originally a Black Musketeer, he now wore a blue tunic, which was the royal color of the king. This signified that he was now part of the prestigious King's Guard branch of the elite Musketeers.

His rapier was finely crafted by the best swordsmith in France, it's knuckle guards, quillons and pommel even more gilded than his clothing. The turk's head was skillfully encased by a green emerald of questionable origins.

What would a Musketeer be without his musket?

He was known to keep a Doglock Musket slung over his shoulder and if that was not with him, a Flintlock Pistol or two would sure to be hidden on his person.
Skills:
His sheer size and weight made him a mountain of a man, a formidable prospect for fisticuffs even after factoring in his penchant for clumsy accidents. Indeed, after a fight, he was usually the one with the most injuries in the group.

A master at fencing/swordplay and lethal within one hundred and fifty paces with a musket, which was almost godly in his day.

It would also be prudent to note that he was a legend when it came to the inhuman amounts of food and drink he could consume in one sitting. Louis XIV had been so impressed by this, in fact, that he signed over a small Duchy in Aquitaine to satisfy his awe.
