Tall, fair skinned, solidly build, Gunnar is a fine example of a North Man. He stands tall at around six feet, eight inches, his broad shoulders, muscled physique and movements telling of one who has trained for a life of combat, his arms showing the results of years working a hammer to anvil. The faint scars seen over parts of his body showing he has experience beyond training and life in a forge. His face bears strong features, high cheek bones and a wide jaw decorated by a fairly well trimmed goatee, his black hair is kept long and loose, hanging down between his shoulder blades. His eyes, however, are a storm gray of a color, dark like the gathering clouds of a tempest.
His style of dress is hardly fancy or refined. His shoulders bearing a fur lined cloak turned sleeveless coat, holes cut into the sides for his arms depending on how he wished to wear it. Beneath that one could find a woolen shirt or light chain mail, depending on his mood. His breeches were made of soft leather hide, sewn together in patchwork fashion, his feet usually covered with soft natural leather boots with soft soles.
Seemingly always with him, though it’s not always apparent, is his silver war hammer. Unlike the small, swift hammers of the Vikings, his hammer is built like a sledge, decorative and symbolic runes etched into the silver alloy head and shaft all the way down to the leather wrapped handle.

Skills:

Gunnar is a skilled blacksmith and silversmith, seemingly unaffected by the allergy many of his kind bear. He also still bears a few Gifts as well as an innate affinity with storms.
