All Blackguard are uniform in appearance; equipped with all black Titan-2 body armor resistant to both ballistics and magic, sans helmet. Their simple hierarchy is indicated by rank insignia pinned to the left breastplate: Two linked bars for Captain, a single bar for Sergeants, and vacant for Troopers. They come in all shapes, sizes, and genders and are rarely if ever seen alone, preferring to roam in bullying packs. With no standard weapon requirements enforced their arsenal incorporates personal arms ranging from edged melee weapons to laser spewing crossbows and everything in between.
