Fae by design was a changeling of the modern age. She had a different face for every occasion, so many masks, that at times she forgot who she really was. She was a study of seduction that drew attention to those hour glass curves and vivid colour of raven red hair. The living statue of a fallen goddess, left to go wild in the slums.

In public she was the fool, the shallow gold digger that would drain men dry with a sinful smile and velvet voice. Lulling the rich along, with that siren song and the hypnotic tick of sharp hips, till they parted with everything she demanded and never once did a promise pass her lips, of anything to be given in return.

In reality, she didn't need the money she so enjoyed taking. It was nothing more then a part to play, another mask to add to the growing pile.

 If the pointed curve of shell like ears and marble white skin did not give away her supernatural beginnings, then the coal black eyes told the tale. Never did she try to hide the fact that she was more then human, never did she divulge what she really was.
She didn't juggle balls of light on the porch or pull tricks to impress the flocks. What powers laid under that pale skin and black eyes, remained hidden.

 That was Fae. A contradiction of everything that came before..
