This week in the Arena was a busy one! On Monday we saw the completion of the Overlord Challenge between former Oerlord Salvador Delahada and new Overlord Ebon Ilnaren! Ebon took the first round with a score of 5-3 in eight rounds, while Salvador took the second with a score of 5-2 in five, Ebon however took the challenge in the third and final match, after an intense match with a score of 6-5 in fourteen rounds! Congratulations Ebon! Well reigned Salvador!
Following the Overlord challenge, we saw former barons Jaycy Ashleana and Hope Naharis step down, leaving the Old Temple and Seaside baronies vacant! The rings will be awarded via the Tag Team Tournament on Saturday, January 29th.
On Tuesday we saw the completion of the Dockside challenge, Baron Anubis Karos standing in for Jackson after a surprising forfeit from former baron Jackson Payne. Challenger Mira Burke stood against the Baron of Cadentia, taking the challenge in two friendly matches! Well reigned Jackson, well-fought Anubis, and well won Mira!
Wednesday! We saw a challenge queue form against Renegade Baron Eregor Túr Gairdín! Ettyn de la Rose started the queue, her match against Eregor is to be completed tomorrow at 8PM! Rhiannon Brock followed with a second challenge within minutes, to the surprise of her husband, set to happen on Tuesday at 9PM if it needed, followed immediately by the third and final challenge put forth by Haru Jeong!
In the Outtback! No challenges were put forth or completed this week, however the date and time was announced for Diamond Quest CVIII! It is scheduled for this Saturday, the 15th, at 8PM! As well the IFL Powerhouse Party has been announced and will take place on January 14th!
On the Isle! The Tower of Fire finds itself under challenge! Freshly minted Baron Mira Burke has challenged Keeper Rachael Blackthorne for custodianship of the fiery tower! The date has not yet been decided! But stay tuned to the cork for more details!
In isle tournament news! Both the Archmage Tournament and a cycle long tournament, The Zodiak Trust! The Archmage Tournament is scheduled for Sunday, January, 16th at 8PM to close out the weekend of tournaments, while the Zodiak trust begins on January, 23rd at the beginning of the Air cycle!
