Let’s make it three! Challenge for New Haven.

The following was posted in shaky handwriting, as if Haru was giggling as he wrote it.

Heya teach. Remember last time I entered a challenge queue against ya? Been considering it for a while and well I still want my match! So I challenge for New Haven.

Since this is a challenge queue, the following rule applies in regards to when the challenge must be completed:

Additional pending challenges MUST be fought at a rate no less than one per week (7 days) until the pending challenges are depleted. The week begins once the challenge is officially completed i.e. when the Official Standings are Updated

This challenge follows Rhiannon in the queue.

After discussion with both Rhi and Haru, we have agreed that their challenges, if needed, will happen on Tuesday 1/9.

Rhi and I will face each other at 9 p.m. ((ET)) and if necessary, I will engage Haru immediately following.

Dris has agreed to call for both.

As skill would have it, Baron Eregor Túr Gairdín managed a successful defense against his wife, and so went on immediately afterward to fight against his second challenger, Haru Jeong. Since I was already there, I officiated that one, too!

Haru Jeong fought under the colors of red and black, paired with the banner bearing the House Adia crest topped with a phoenix. His second was Mira Burke, and people of honor were his family.

Eregor still fought under the banner of a stone tower on a field of forest green. His Squire, Rhys Germain, remained as his Second, and his People of Honor were Rhiannon Brock Túr Gairdín and their children: Colleen, Alinar, Brian, and Galene.

This challenge went a lot quicker than the one before it. Eregor took the early lead and did not give it up absolutely at all. In fact, we were nearly looking at a shut out! However, in the seventh and final round a trade of cuts saw Haru finally landing a point on the board. Unfortunately, Eregor had kept a solid enough lead and was already at match point, allowing him to walk away victorious with his second defense with a final score of 5 to 1 in seven rounds!

As my favorite scary lich would say, admirable effort, Haru! Congratulations on defense number two, Eregor! Everybody tune in on Thursday night to see if he can bank himself a third when he faces Ettyn de la Rose for his third and final challenge in the queue!
