Archmage Challenge Tonight!

Tonight, Tuesday June 29th, at 8 o'clock ET, the Mage Topaz will be facing the Archmage William Wulfson in the rings of Twilight Isle. Up for contention are the titles of Archmage and Celestial Keeper.

William, currently in his 4th reign as Archmage, has held the title for a total of 2 1/2 years when all of his reigns are combined. That is more than any other Archmage by far. He has also successfully defended his title no less than 7 times.

Topaz has never previously ascended to the supreme position on the Isle, however she is far from inexperienced. She is coming into this match with tremendous momementum behind her, having successfully defended her Baronial ring on Sunday and then won the Archmage tournament last night.

This promises to be an intense and exciting match. Plan to arrive early if you want a ringside seat.

RESULTS

Tonight, Will Wulfson and Topaz met in a best of three match. All three duels were fought before a winner was determined.

In the first duel, Topaz took the first point, but Will quickly got on the board and they stayed neck and neck, slowly marching the score up to 3.5 each. Then in two swift rounds, Will scored two full points and took the win.

In the second duel, Will marched away with it until the score was 4-1. Topaz then dug in her heels and fought back hard to take the lead 4.5-4. Will was able to tie it up before Topaz scored a full point to win the second duel.

In the third duel Topaz kept her momentum from the previous comeback and just kept right on going without looking back. The final score of the duel was 5.5-1.5 .

The Twilight Isle has a new Archmage and Celestial Keeper, and her name is Topaz.
