Back in the day...

Post by Onyx »

Remember that sometimes cool, mostly annoying toy, entrance wavs?

Since Shakira's post of old standings got me thinking, what was your entrance wav, or if you never had one, what would you use?

Onyx used the beginning of Ready or Not by the Fugees, and occasionally Cherry Bomb by The Runaways.

Hey I was honest about mine...so fess up.

Let the snickering begin. :D

At one time I used from RHCP's "Give it away now"

~What I got you gotta get it put in ya~

Then Amal came up with the Name Game for Nick:

~Nick, Nick, Bo-Bick, banana-fana-fo-fick, me-my-mo-mick...NICK!~

Hey Amal! I still have that wav somewhere....

Good thing Nick's name wasn't Chuck.

Mine was the Imperial March, with all sorts of sound bites edited into it. It was a work of art, and I used to do editing for a bunch of people.

It was exquisite. :)

Never used one, but I had a ton of 'em stockpiled. Used to trade with AJ, too. Guess that marks how old I am, eh?

I ripped sounds from the Macintosh version of Civilization. I used a Mac until 1998. I still miss it.

I used the Babylonian theme for Xenograg, the English for Amaltea, and the Indians for PsiMystic.

Do I still have it. Hah.

For my Elijah Basia-Uhr IC the entrance .wav would usually scare household animals when it went off. LOL I had a lighting strike from a Highlander movie clip followed by Carl Orf's "O' Fortuna" from Carmina Burana that played out with more lighting strikes throughout it. Which is now a piece of audio clip you hear in about one out of three movie commercials or one out of three sports highlights teasers it seems. I orginally heard it in the movie Excalibur when I was a kid.

For Baphelocutis I had the emperor's theme from the Star Wars movies.

I've used this for Flora's entrance music.
Because I wrote it. :P
