Challenge Results!
On this 5th day of April, challenger Max Blue and Keeper of Earth Xerzes Maureen did do battle for the honor and privilege of being one of the Isle's esteemed protectors. I, Tim Enralyte, did bear witness to this event, and the results are as follows.
Magician Max Blue had use of his three spells Arctic Blast, Ghostform, and Meteor Shower, while Keeper Xerzes Maureen chose Immolation, Meteor Shower, and Arctic Blast as his three advanced spells. In addition, Xerzes had the use of his avalanche of Elemental Fury once in each duel.
The first duel began in ring one, and from the start, Max took the lead and never looked back, slowly breaking Xerzes down with a series of advantages that eventually earned him the win, 5.5-3.5 in a drawn out thirteen round match.
The second duel followed very much the same pattern, Max chipping away at his opponent, sliding past many an immolation and arctic blast. Although Xerzes did manage to tie up the score after nine rounds, Max proved to be the winner, 5-3.5 in twelve rounds.
Thus, by a victory of two to zero, Max Blue becomes the newest Keeper of Earth. May he reign with honor and wisdom, and may the Isle be safeguarded by his presence.
