Any challenge issued using the Friday the 13th challenge will automatically have an extension to complete the challenge to avoid possible scheduling conflicts. The deadline is end of regulation dueling on Saturday, November 4.
These duels are first come first serve beginning on Friday, October 13th at 6:00pm eastern, and in the case two challenges are posted simultaneously to a Baron, the duel with the lowest thread ID will be considered the valid challenge. In the case of an invalid challenge, it may be rescinded and a challenge to a different Baron issued.
A Baron may only be challenged once, regardless of their alignment. Therefore if a Renegade Baron is challenged using the Friday the 13th challenge, another Friday the 13th challenge cannot be used against them. Renegade Barons will still be open to challenge queues from Warlord Challenge Rights or special grants.

Re: Friday the 13th Challenges OOC Details
Hello! Couple questions about this.
1. With the exception of eligibility by rank, do the Universal Terms of Challenge for this event still apply?
For instance, Myria is currently under challenge and has until I believe the 13th to complete the challenge with Rachael. Should Myria defend her title by this time, will she retain her grace period and therefore be exempt from challenge on the 13th? Or will she automatically be eligible for challenge that night as well?
Furthermore, should Myria fail to defend her title and Rachael become the new Baron of Battlefield Park, if Myria logs three duels like anyone else this week, will she be eligible to issue a challenge on the 13th, or will she still be required to abide by the 14-day cool down period?
2. What happens in the event that a Baron is already in the process of a challenge? Myself as the example.
Sal has the test free Overlord Challenge grant from the latest ART. I am pretty sure my deadline to post this challenge is October 8th. Even if that posted challenge is validated the same day, it will not need to be completed until, I think, the 21st. If someone does in fact challenge for Dragon's Gate while we are in the process of completing the Overlord Challenge, and Reign defends, is the deadline to complete the Baronial challenge also before November 4th like all the rest?
And in the event that Sal might defeat Reign to become the next Overlord, swapping titles with her, will she be required to then complete the challenge to Dragon's Gate, or will this be treated like a grant situation in which the person who initially challenged for Dragon's Gate will be permitted to issue a new challenge after the 13th?

Re: Friday the 13th Challenges OOC Details
Thanks for asking!
1. I don't want to say that all UTC apply, because there's some exceptions we're making to it, so some will and some won't. Like the requirement that the challenge posted on the board mentioning the title being challenged for is still required, but other things aren't. Using Rachael and Myria's challenge as an example: if the challenge is not officially complete, then neither Myria if she retains nor Rachael if she wins will be eligible to be challenged. Their duel would need to be completed next week so it is official on the standings posted on October 8th. If not completed before then, Battlefield Park is not eligible to be challenged for since the challenge wouldn't be officially complete.
If the challenge takes place this week and Myria loses, she would be eligible to challenge on the 13th provided she logged three duels. Likewise if the challenge takes place this week and Rachael loses, if she logs the three duels she can challenge again on the 13th. We won't be monitoring for any cooldown period.
2. The position on this is that Sal's OL challenge would need to be completed before any challenge to Sal's barony, should one be made. So if Dragon's Gate is challenged for, the challenger would have to wait until after the Overlord Challenge before completing the challenge against Sal. Their challenge would also become invalid should Sal become OL and the person who issued challenge would not be able to reissue the challenge (unless they were a WL and used their normal challenge rights to reissue the challenge). So Reign would not inherit any pending challenge to Dragon's Gate.

Re: Friday the 13th Challenges OOC Details
Thanks for clearing all that up, Alasdair! Much appreciated, but my brain is still hung up on a couple of points. Forgive me.
1. If the challenge for Battlefield Park is completed before the 8th and reflected on the standings, and Myria defends her barony, is she still eligible to be challenged? Or will she get her grace period as a Loyal baron?
2. Should Sal come under challenge on the 13th while in the process of completing the OL challenge, and Reign defends, the deadline for the Dragon's Gate challenge to be completed is also November 4th per the extension granted with this event, correct?

1. There would be no grace period.
2. Correct. Every challenge that's issued using this process will have until November 4th to be completed.
