Some time ago, you asked for challengers and I have a grant to use or lose. I am not a young gun by any means. I look forward to meeting you in the ring.

Autumn

[Hope]

Yeah I would have liked some newer fighters to come but a fight means eyes which is good for sponsors which means I can keep my place. I like my place and my gym and this is my job so by all means let's do this Pass on the catering, just signed a deal with The Hub of Grub so can't be having local competition.

[A Ripple in Time]

Hope and I will be meeting in the ring on Saturday, 12 August at 10PM by the eastern clock. The Honorable Conner Reid will be officiating for us.

In keeping with Hope's wish to not cause a conflict with her sponsor, there will be running tab on the night of the challenge at the Arena's bar and the Wolves Den Bistro from 9:30 PM until the end of regulation hours at 2am.

Autumn

Oi, this challenge happened last eve and it were a quick and exciting one!

By virtue of the Overlord's Grant, Autumn were the challenger. Her colors were blue, silver, and autumn gold. Her second were Mairead Harker. And her court of honor were Velen, Pearl, and Lirssa Ilnaren.

Defending the Old Temple barony were Hope Naharis. Hope fought under the Real Rhy'Din banner. And while she had no second, her people of honor were her Real Rhy'din teammates.

Baron Naharis chose a single duel format, and with no further ado, the duelers were off and at it.

Fighting with what looked like a bullwhip, Hope got off to a strong start. Within five rounds, she had managed to build a lead of three unanswered points. In the sixth round, Autumn broke through and got one on the board, using the flat of her blade to connect with a high strike. She continued her attack, and while traded contact doubled her points, it also moved Hope to match point in the seventh round. Aiming high once more, Autumn tried to strike to begin building a comeback, but Hope rolled beneath the blade and came up with the win!

FINAL: Hope def. A Ripple in Time, 5 - 2 in 8 rounds.
