Saturday the 10th of June was actually a day of two weddings for Hye-jin and Yuri. The first was a smaller and private ceremony held at their church in New Haven, attended by the nuns who had raised Yuri at the orphanage. Hye-jin was impatient to see Yuri but was convinced it would be bad luck. She had a moment of panic when she realized she didn't know how to tie her bow tie, but their old friend Marie hurried to help her.

That evening a larger public ceremony was held at the Twilight Pavilion and Tea House with a reception immediately following. The newlyweds friends made the long walk up the narrow path to find the Pavilion in full bloom and beautifully decorated for the happy occasion.

After the vows the newlyweds shared the first dance and then partied well into the night with their friends, with Hye-jin embarrassing Yuri a bit by eating a huge amount of onion rings. Finally the two said their thanks to all the guests and departed for their honeymoon trip at the Blue Horizon Resort to enjoy the beach and sun for a week.
