As of 2:00:00am ((ET)) on March 8th, 2022, Scarlett has been determined to be inactive and thus is stripped of her right to hold the Black Opal, ShadoWeaver.

The Duel of Fists staff will be in contact with challenger Mira as soon as possible to discuss the next steps.

The Black Diamond, Michelle Montoya, has agreed to stand in defense against challenger Mira for the Black Opal, ShadoWeaver.

Should Michelle win, ShadoWeaver will remain vacant and will be awarded in a tournament to be announced later. Should Mira win, they will become the new holder of ShadoWeaver.

This match will still take place this evening, March 8th 2022 at 9pm ((ET)).

[Death Knell]

Tonight Mira Burke and Michelle Montoya fought for the Opal ShadoWeaver. Mira pressed challenge, but when Scarlett lost the Opal, Michelle as Diamond was asked to be champion.

They decided the challenge with a best of three matches.

Mira opened the first match in the lead. Michelle countered for a tie, but Mira took back the lead and did not let it go, taking the first match in six hard-fought rounds.

The second match opened with a trade. Mira took the lead again, but after many hard hits, they took more time to feel each other out. Michelle stopped Mira from closing it out and scored again in the sixth round, but Mira won with a hip-toss in the seventh.

Well fought to both, and congratulations to Mira the new holder of ShadoWeaver.
