Yet another challenge for Cadentia

Post by Neo Eternity »

All right, that's enough waiting.

I challenge for Cadentia.

Don't bother trying to schedule with me until you get through Jackson; Kruger's a very skilled duelist and Jackson's got an uncanny rock chucking arm. And besides, I would still like to see more people line up to take a whack at you before me.

Neo is behind Jackson in the challenge queue. Please see the rules for details on when this challenge must be completed.

- Additional pending challenges MUST be fought at a rate no less than one per week (7 days) until the pending challenges are depleted. The week begins once the challenge is officially completed i.e. when the Official Standings are Updated.

We will be holding this challenge on Monday, February 28th at 10:00 PM RST ((EST)). We have acquired permission from Duel of Swords staff to miss the "one challenge per week" rule for queued challenges. Anya will be officiating.

Looks like it will be a double-header with the Overlord challenge on Monday. Expect one hell of a night.

I have an update for everyone. We are going to be moving this challenge to Cadentia, similar to how Kruger's challenge took place. Though with much less showmanship; Kruger's the best in the biz when it comes to that. There will be a proper ring with wards set up, so there should be little to no risk of Anubis and I wrecking the place while going at each other. So if you want more action after the Overlord challenge, come on over to Cadentia.

This challenge occurred as scheduled at 10 PM ((ET)) on February 28, 2022.

Anubis chose a single match for the challenge, as he has over the duration of his queue. After a 1-1 starter, no one could pull decisively ahead for the duration of the match with the score going up by one and then into a tie consistently. The fighters mixed their attacks and defenses to sprinkle in a few scoreless rounds, matching each other point for point. In the end, Neo inched into the lead, closing it out at 5.5-4 in eleven rounds.

Ring Roses 1: Everybody scores! (TH / TH | 1 - 1, Neo Eternity and Anubis Karos.)
Ring Roses 2: No action this round. (LC / LC | 1 - 1, Anubis Karos and Neo Eternity.)
Ring Roses 3: Anubis Karos scores! (FSS / HC | 1 - 2, Anubis Karos leads.)
Ring Roses 4: Neo Eternity scores! (LC / FDU | 2 - 2, Anubis Karos and Neo Eternity.)
Ring Roses 5: Anubis Karos scores! (SH / LC | 2 - 3, Anubis Karos leads.)
Ring Roses 6: No action this round. (FDU / FSS | 2 - 3, Anubis Karos leads.)
Ring Roses 7: Neo Eternity scores! (FLP / TH | 3 - 3, Anubis Karos and Neo Eternity.)
Ring Roses 8: Neo Eternity scores! (TH / FDU | 4 - 3, Neo Eternity leads.)
Ring Roses 9: Anubis Karos scores! (FSS / LC | 4 - 4, Neo Eternity and Anubis Karos.)
Ring Roses 10: Neo Eternity gains position. (LP / TH | 4.5 - 4, Neo Eternity leads.)
Ring Roses 11: Neo Eternity scores! (LC / FLP | 5.5 - 4, Neo Eternity leads.)
FINAL: Neo Eternity def. Anubis Karos, 5.5 - 4 in 11 rounds. - dos

Congratulations, Baron Eternity. Well reigned, Anubis Karos.
