Winter All Ranks Tournament - February 20th!

Warm up those Winter-Frozen Toes with the All Ranks Tournament!

Put on Your Best Slug-Face as we go old-school SLUGFEST!

The event will be held in the Outback on Sunday, February 20th, starting at 8pm by the Eastern Clock (participants must check in no later than 8:05pm; tournament entry will close at that point).

Compete for the guts, the glory, and for Fistmelda’s Tusk (and more)!

Additional prizes:

• 100 nobles x # of participants
• Additional prizes to come!

Seedings will be random** and the tournament format will be based on number of entrants and may be double elimination, single elimination, or round robin.

Ten brawlers entered the Duel of Fists' Winter All Ranks Tournament to vie for Fistmelda's Tusk and other prizes in the brutal Slugfest format! They were:

Droet
Haru Jeong
Mira Burke
DoranI lnaren
Anya de la Rose
Stitch
Caleb Feren
Ettyn de la Rose
Uriah Zatoichi Shinou
Kheldar Drasinia

To start off the night, Uriah took a close opening loss to Ettyn while Kheldar did the same against Caleb. Both duelers would lose in the next round to have an early tournament exit.

Caleb looked strong as the night opened but narrowly lost to Haru before Stitch lambasted him with a 6-0 victory, showing just how nasty Slugfest brawls can be. Ettyn, meantime, after a Round 2 loss to Droet, began plowing her way through the bottom bracket while Anya looked unstoppable in the upper bracket, now allowing any opponent to score more than 2 points!

Ultimately, Ettyn and Anya met in the Finals where Ettyn took the first match 5-3 before Anya pulled out a 5-4 win in a SUDDEN DEATH scenario in the last duel to become the 2022 Winter ART Winner!

Anya thus becomes the latest winner of Fistmelda's Tusk! Ettyn chose the mystery prize (which was Nero's Bracelet) and Mira selected Fashion Week VIP passes, leaving 900 nobles for Droet to spend around town (perhaps paying off Eden's hefty pizza tab).
