I hereby accept your challenge for the Barony of New Haven.
You'll have to settle for me, though, and not Voltregor.

Re: Challenge for New Haven
It was.. somewhat odd to be told that you've challenged for the Barony of New Haven when you actually hadn't.. Coming home from the airport and seeing a rather smug looking pre-teen standing there ready to declare: "I challenged that New Haven place for you! Ettyn wanted it, right? You can win it and take her there! .. And you can let me swim in the pool..?"
Layla could only stand there in awkward thought. She then said, "Well.. Father did tell me to relax from work.."

Re: Challenge for New Haven
This evening I was called upon to officiate the New Haven challenge between challenger Layla and Baron Eregor, so let's get down to the details of the evening shall we?
Layla fought under a simple black banner with gold trim and her person of Honor was Ettyn de la Rose and as her second was The Crossroads Funeral Parlor!
Celebrate the festivities of the New Year by looking ahead! 20% discount applied to all your casket needs during the months of February and March.. and not only that! With the purchase of any 2 promotion marked caskets you will receive one more as a free bonus! Like the fireworks that fill the beautiful skies of our fair city, cremation fees are slashed in half with free funerary urn included! Discounts and deals only good for Crossroads Funeral Parlor services only. Government and/or large scale services may see extra fees applied.
Eregor fought under a banner with a stone tower on a field of forest green with his second being the Squire of New Haven, Rhys Germain and his Lady of Honor was Rhiannon Brock!
Wanting to give Rhys a chance to test, Eregor opted to elect his squire to test Layla first for the evening and see how things would go, so into the ring spear and rapier went! Layla scored first, but after a mirrored null round, it was Rhys to get to the point of things (literally!) and he tied things up in the third round. From there, the rapier and Rhys scored two points before Layla and her spear began to turn the tide and they tied up once more at 3 apiece in the seventh. When the pair traded thrusts in the nineth, it looked to be anyone’s match at sudden death, but it was Rhys who dropped low and under Layla’s defense attempt and sealed the victory for Eregor! Congratulations on a squire test well done Rhys, congratulations on your continued reign Eregor and well tried Layla!
Offical score of the evening: Rhys Germain def. Layla Paine, 5 - 4 in 10 rounds.
