~News from the Outback (and Park) ~
Well, the first week of the cycle has come and gone. We had some staffing problems last week, but they've been resolved so all should be normal this week! We know it's been getting cold lately and your DoF staff is hard at work seeking out an indoor venue for the winter months. (And yes, we're checking out stone buildings because they don't burn as easily as the wood ones do).
On October 22, get ready for the Diamond Quest! That's right. Who will win the coveted top spot this cycle? Come out and see when the best of the best brawlers battle it out! Keep on the lookout for the starting time and who's favored to win!
You will notice that there is no current holder for Firestar. We regret to announce that the former holder, Beck Weller, was stripped of title for excessive force used during his matches. With no regard for his opponents, Beck's techniques became too dangerous for the health of those participating in the dueling as well as the public environment of the park. Until he regains control, Beck will not be allowed to participate in the brawls nor come to the park with Opal in hand. Until next week.
((Note: Hi guys, a couple of things. First, due to a very nasty technical problem, HOST DFC Snow lost the results of his duels from 2 Wednesday's ago. If anyone has a log and can get that to either him, HOST DFC Glo or I, we'll get those duels added in and standings updated. We apologize for inconviences with this. Second, I've been in the habit of posting IC happenings for the characters while in the DoF space; but lately I haven't known of any of the SLs going on. If anyone ever wants to see something posted in the news section for SL RP, feel free to drop me a mail (HOST DFC Ria) with a short summary of what happened. I'll need any submissions by 5pm EST on Fridays so they can be put in standings. Thanks!
