RhyDin Election 2021 - Primary Voting!

Pouring out from the offices of Marshwallow & Bowles in New Haven, an army of bullywugs with a head for numbers has manned polling stations for the first round of voting in RhyDin's gubernatorial election!

Six candidates are still in the race, listed in order of declaring their candidacy:

Jackson
Kira Adia
Karma Armstrong
Ebon Ilnaren
Peter the Spider
Sir Stabbington Roomba

Voters are told that polls will be open until the very last minute of Tuesday, September 21st, at 11:59 p.m. by the Eastern clock. The four candidates who receive the most votes by that time will move on to the general election, which will begin around this time next week!

We have had two ties which place five of six candidates between first and third place. After consultation with our advisers and discussion with the affected candidates, we have come to the conclusion that we shall word such phrases as "The four candidates who receive the most votes" to better account for ties; and furthermore, that only those we are able to determine as clearly passing that threshold will proceed to the next round.

So it is Kira Adia, Karma Armstrong, and Sir Stabbington Roomba who will proceed to the general election! We wish Jackson, Ebon Ilnaren, and Peter the Spider the best in their future endeavors.

((Sorry this post took until now! The interpretation bringing us to three candidates for the runoff, instead of five, was discussed with the affected candidates, Ebon and Peter, and was contingent on their acceptance. Thank you both for your understanding!))
