Tonight it was my honor and privilege to be selected to officiate this here battle for the Tower of Earth! Our combatants, challenger Haru Jeong and Keeper Anya de la Rose, took their contest into the twisty turns within the earthen maze of the legendary Ring Titan! It was hard to keep track of them. Fortunately, I have a special pair of theater glasses that help tremendously.

In this best of three contest, it only took two matches to declare a winner! The first saw Anya taking a strong lead, starting with first blood and working her way to match point with hardly a one from Haru. In the sixth round, he started making a stand and climbed his way up close to her lead. In the eighth and final round, they spooked each other into a point each, but it was Anya who came away clean with the win at a score of 5 to 3.

Haru grabbed the first point in the first round of the second match, but Anya was quick to retaliate in round two. She extended her lead into the fourth round, and Haru seemed to come back with a vengeance in the fifth. Anya jumped to match point in the sixth round, but Haru kept it close. It took another two rounds into another eighth and final one for Anya to secure her defense with a closing score of 5 to 4.

What a great show! Good try on that challenge, Haru! Congratulations, Anya, on a stellar defense!
